Wow! I just flew (last month or so) from Phoenix to Seattle to fly and drive a wagon home. Car was junk (dealership was junk too) and they wanted way more than this. Flew back home and wife showed me one she found here in town, went to look and bought the same day lol.
GLWS, will go fast for...
Just out of curiosity, I looked to see if that car in Seattle was still online and it is not. I wonder if they sold it at auction or whatever at a loss. If someone bought it, I hope they got a really good deal.
James
Pics I had dealer send me before flying up. Apologies for not getting pics onsite. I was super deflated. Dealer lot upon arrival was like a war zone. Dirt/rock lot, disorganized, main office a wreck. $3000 car imo. I had them down to $8000 lol, they said that’s what they paid for it at auction...
I forgot to mention the paint from the side looks OK on this car. Underneath he car is very clean, but the top looks like it was rattle canned black.
James
Apologies for seeing this late yes absolutely that is the car and it is a wreck. It shifted great, but the engine seemed to have a hard time pulling to 4000 RPM. Headliner falling, missing interior pieces. Removed engine cover severe oil sludge all over the place I walked..
I flew from Phoenix...
Well this was a bust. Flew up this morning. Upon walking into this Mom and Pop dealership it looked like a disaster. Bad vibes right off the bat. Paint on car totally shot on top.
Interior was ok for a 23 year old car. Removed engine cover to reveal a massive amount of oil buildup/sludge...
Negative but I’m intrigued. You got a link?
Short story: I’m gonna move on from this wagon and will be selling it. Needs work and I’m in the position to afford a cleaner one.
James
Howdy,
Wondering if anyone is up near that area that would be willing to put eyes on a wagon for me? I’m contemplating flying and driving back to AZ with this rig.
James
Not sure what pr means. I think around late Nov. he apologized saying parts delays. From then I checked in every few weeks or so, sometimes would take a few tries to get a response.
Website said if I ordered to not expect lights until Oct so going in I was ok. Ordered Aug 29, 2024. Received...
Checking in, I in fact received my E-Code headlights from VXtuning this week. Installed today, tested, everything works, they look great (brand new housings with glass lenses I sent to have installed).
Need to wait until dark to aim.
There was a lot of back and forth, delays etc. Best advice...
Thanks again everyone including the numerous "what is the torque settings" threads. Got both lower control arms done, passenger axle, all new hardware, and bonus finally got off my butt and got that PD150 installed.
Dry run last night went well, very squirrely in some corners so alignment...
Thanks guys, that's what I'm gonna do. I ordered a passenger side complete kit from ID parts, will return the Autozone unit.
Now if I can just figure out where the vacuum hoses go (I have the diagram, but it doesn't account for hoses that are connected to the device that's in the middle of the...
Should I even bother trying to install this CV axle shaft I picked up from Autozone? The shaft is no where near the same size as the one in the car.
AutohausAZ is local, should I return it and order from them or ID parts?
In a pickle, daily driver down.
James
I have been more than patient enough. He occasionally responds “should go out in the next batch next week”.
At what point is this not mail fraud since across state lines.
James
I’m holding out hope. I ordered Aug 29, website was clear that parts wouldn’t be in until Oct. No prob. Checked back in, Mike responded apologized for delay, should be ready end of Nov. All good, I’ve worked construction, I get product delays.
Last few emails (mid December now) gone unanswered...
Wow thanks! My old tired self couldn’t at first remember what they would be called.
Reckon the procedure to put new ones on is to put 2 nuts in, tightened to each other to torque the stud onto the turbo?
James
Well, monkey boy here thought I could use some needle nose vice grips to hold it and try to walk the nut off, even tried using my dewalt impact to slowly whack it. Threads got boogered up so I don’t think so! Lol
James
Did some sleuthing and I’m not the first but am lucky it didn’t snap off on the turbo housing. Some reading someone said just put a bolt in. M8 Stainless? What length do you think?
James
Howdy! Apologies for not being around much. Life routine.
Finally pulled the trigger on a turbo back 2.5” exhaust. VNT-17 since I bought it a few years back.
Got the easy to access nuts loosened, going for the invisible one it gave me a little trouble and finally broke loose. Welp, it sure did...
